Shopping channel HSE24 supports the new Wirecard

Buy at HSE24 and pay with the virtual MasterCard

Berlin, Munich/Grasbrunn, 6 March 2007 – HSE24 now supports Wirecard Bank AG's virtual MasterCard for the Swiss market. The shopping channel has an audience of 1.7 million households in Switzerland alone.

HSE24 already offers its Swiss customers the option of paying by credit card for purchases via the Internet and its call center. The objective of co-operating with Wirecard AG is to reduce process costs and return ratios for advance payments and payments on delivery. For customers who previously did not have their own credit card and who thus paid in advance or on delivery, "Wirecard" allows simple and secure purchases at HSE24.

Buying from the comfort of one's own home is an experience which has become established in Europe's TV landscape. Round the clock HSE24 offers a large range of products, presented live by competent experts. With state-of-the-art studio technology and online features such a live streaming and video on demand, HSE24 creates a varied, interactive program which has caught the imagination of millions of customers.

Wirecard”, a Wirecard Bank AG product, permits simple and secure payments over the Internet. Using “Wirecard”, private customers who have previously not had a credit card of their own or do not want to use their credit card for Internet transactions are able to buy from all Internet merchants and mail order companies which accept MasterCard. After registering at www.wirecard.com, the consumer immediately receives an account at the Wirecard Bank. As soon as he has a credit balance, he receives a "virtual" MasterCard.
